A website is the perfect place to collect email addresses. *Include a mailing list sign-up* It's the one thing that you can do to build a community, increase crowd size and ultimately create revenue. Put contact details like your email address within an <address>....</address> tag.
Put news on the front page, and keep it updated, I recommend a blog. Limit the text to around 250-500 words, weave keywords within this text, be natural, archive regularly. Setting up a blog is easy with blogger.com, see:
