Garden Lighting Berkshire
11:July:2007 About two years ago I freely offered my Website design and SEO services to a friend because his garden lighting Website was nowhere to be found in Google, I could see that he was in trouble and as a friend I wanted to help him out, so I gave my services to him for free! I spent about forty hours over three months researching and creating the Garden Lighting Website that we'd discussed at a consultation - good Zen so far. Once the Website was up and running, I got this weird email:
">I really don't want my Website to link to other Websites... >I certainly don't want to link to other garden lighting websites... >TAKE THE LINKS PAGE OFF NOW..." I don't like being shouted at. More consultation. He didn't see the light. Poison ivy. And parting of the ways :( Everything is not rosy in the flower garden.
I'm a Buddhist so here's a Buddhist thought: "As a net is made up by a series of knots, so everything in this world is connected by a series of knots. If anyone thinks that the mesh of a net is an independent, isolated thing, they are mistaken. It is called a net because it is made up of a series of connected meshes, and each mesh has its place and responsibilities in relation to other meshes". Get it? If you want to be a garden flower you have to be part of the garden. Or, if you want to be found on the Internet you have to be connected to it. And, even if you don't, you are. Secret: linking is important.
So, what has this to do with Garden Lighting in Berkshire and Band Promotion!? Well, I'm expecting this page to be to be found in Google's top 4 results for Garden Lighting Berkshire and this page is a band promotion page! Yep I'm giving him the finger, plus I'm trying to demonstrate the importance of content & linking, and show that Website promotion can also be about being found for something else other than your business/band name - even though in this case Garden, Lighting and Berkshire have nothing to do with Band Promotion - or do they?
Gardening, vegetable production, farming and linking in my view should all be organic. Organic linking is natural, it's linking to Websites that are relevant and related to yours. Organic links tend to receive 65% more traffic than non-organic (unrelated) links, so, swap links with like minded Websites, sit back and enjoy the moody lighting scheme.
Whether you have green fingers or Sticky Fingers I hope this page shows that Content and Linking are one of the most important parts of a creative and happy garden ;D
However, if you really are looking for Garden Lighting in Berkshire:
