Http Header Checker.
extract the http headers of a web page extract exactly what your browser reads http header is the information sent to your browser along with the page content...
seo 41.com/http-header.php

CClass Ip Range Checker.
ip address is short for internet protocol address the ip address is effectively the address of a computer that is connected to the internet ...
seo 41.com/cclass.php

Ken you are talking about linking to just one page then if you are getting links first. Content is king, links are queen.

How i have done it is make all my content first and optimize each individual page or news post straight after, this can be done by matching it closely to key phrases you know get high or a good amount of searches or just by going in to a tag cloud website and generating your major keywords for that pages content. This is more to do with luck if people search them and means its not really so optimized.

I am at the beginning of creating the links while still making new onpage content. These links will usually point directly to the main page within directories, so my website name and its main 2 key phrases get good authority. After that i will use article directories and then send links to individual pages across my website.

Here im doing exactly that, i have pointed a website (one of which im involved with) to a page that has similar content.

If someone searches for 'unsigned band promotion' on Google, firstly it has to be on a page to have the potential to be found (with lots of finicky dense issues beneath that + html) and then has to have the authority against its competition, so that will be links pointing to the site as a whole and individual pages.

Here is a post about Search Engine Optimization for Bands which you can follow through to Page 39 of the guide. It has List of directories for bands and back links which can help increase a musicians website authority.

Great post by the way, hardly see anything about music marketing and real SEO ideas. Even Music Think Tank doesn't cover much of that.

the most important thing when doing search engine optimization is get a good amount of backlinks first. when you have a sufficient amount of backlinks, then you can start optimizing in page links, keyword density and other factors which affects your ranking.
