A New Shade began in 2000 with the addition of Carrie Davidson. Tommy and Tyler had played in various bands together, but they split up due to musical differences. Then, A New Shade was formed. With the hard-core riffs, pounding drums, and angelic vocals, A New Shade has set out to change the face of Rock and Roll and bring back it's true meaning. A New Shade is a Columbus, Ohio / Charleston, South Carolina based band.
