Profile
6ft from Failure began with the separation of two post-hardcore bands. The members crossed paths and experimented with each others personal styles. After combining their material Death Defying Feats of Betrayal, I go Speechless, and Goodnight Sweetheart were created. Shortly after mastering a handful of songs, the band was asked to perform at their first venue. The band still hadn't settled on a name so finally they decided on 6ft from Failure. In the following months they continued to attain more venues & play shows, and write new songs like, "A Combination of Scissors", "Switchblades" and "We Still Have Chivalry". During this time the band tried out several different bass players and drummers until Zack and Matt joined the group and were exactly what the band was looking for. Now that the band is whole, they have been playing shows at every chance they have and touring constantly. 6ft From Failure's first EP, "Asphixiation", was released in February of 2006. They are now finished writing for their first full-length album and are testing the songs with the fans before they hit the recording studio.
